Like Grandfather, like Grandson….
On the left, Robert looking his best to imitate his granddad. On the right, David’s father in the Alpha Romeo Loren (David’s brother) bought sometime in the 70s. Exactly when and where this picture was taken will have to wait for someone who remembers…

I don't think that I've ever seen this picture! Dad and I bought the car in DC in May or June, 1973 (it was a 1969 Spyder 1750). Then I drove it down to Seneca, SC to start my co-op job at Duke Power. I recall stopping in Augusta on the way, to show off my new wheels to my high school buddies. So while I do not really remember, I think it most likely to have been taken at the pre-Fan house in Richmond in May of '73, before I headed south.
