Birthday Week Winding Down

It’s been a busy week but that has not slowed down the birthday festivities: Han Solo with the Lanes; a couple dinners out, including the traditional Los Tios sombrero; sending Robert off with his eighth grade class for week long field trip, and moving back to our house — construction is winding down. :)

Can the fortune be far behind?

Robert was interviewed for this NYT Kids article on cool summer camps. As far as I can tell, it’s print only so I can’t find a link to it.

They quoted Robert and Dottie Metcalf-Lindenberger, the first Space Camp grad to fly in space.

That’s a Wrap

After four performances, the show has come to a close. The class goes on a field trip for four days next week and then somehow they have a week and a half of “normal” classes before gradation the first week of June.

The wind down of middle school is finally starting to sink in.

The lost boy Nibs, as portrayed by Robert in the eight grade production of Peter Pan. The kids rocked it on opening night!

Three more shows to go before they can all breathe a huge sigh of relief.

What is that crazy thing flying around up there?

Getting Ready …

… for the Eighth Grade production of Peter Pan. Robert plays a lost boy and is also stage managing. It looks like it’s going to be a great show next weekend.
