| Birthday trip 2023 | |

Taylor, one of the original mom's group kids, graduated from a boarding school where she finished up high school. She realized that school would better position her for a US college (which it has) than her Australian school. So we went up to celebrate with her parents who flew in from Australia for the occaision. It was a great graduation ceremony and lots of fun to catch up with Taylor, Nanette, Adam and finally meet Flynn. |
| As we drove up to New York on Friday we noticed a small zoo in nortern Maryland. And Sarah confirmed that they had giraffes. So on the way back, partly in celebration of Sarah's birthday, we stopped at Plumpton Park Zoo. They have one giraffe, but he (or she) was out and enjoying the beautiful day. |

| It was a very nice way to break up the drive, get out of the car and enjoy the perfect weather. |
