National Building Museum: Fun House — July 2018

July 8, 2018
We headed in to DC for a quick vist to see the National Building Museum's new exhibit Fun House. It's a worthy sucessor to The Beach and done by the same Sharkitecture folks. A fun house made of (or at least clad in) stryofoam. Some cool features including ping pong in side yard.
And foam blocks behind the house. But the real draw, at least for us: the simming pool ball pit in the backyard! And an unexpected pleasure: we ran into Eleanor and her parents. My favorite photo them is Robert studiously ignoring her plea for help (those are Eleanor's hands below).

This one is a winner! The Beach, an even bigger ball pit, set a very high bar. The Building Museum is back up there again this year.
