Robert Williams -- First September at Home

Robert has a tendency to sleep a good bit. Sometimes though it's not at night and he and Sarah catch for that some mornings (David took this stealth photo on the way out to work).

A number of folks have asked for more Robert pictures and less adult pictures. Here's Robert in very nice sweater made for him by New Jersey friends the Leaths. And a couple shots in his bouncy seat (thanks again to Bill and Sharon, who used to live next door and had one bouncy seat on each floor for their two girls). That's Zip Drive in the foreground. For a blast from the past, look at Maxime de la K and Zip Drive in their early years, if you don't mind photos from before Robert joined the family. September 2, 2004.

Michelle, formerly of AARP, formerly of Australia, futurely of New York City, stopped by to say hi to Robert. And Max continues to like high places. The fun part of this photo is he has outgrown the cushion and just flowed over to rest his poor head on the hard wood of the top of the bakers rack. Clearly, his humans need to procure a larger cushion for him (and quit taking pictures of him to concentrate on young Robert).

Sarah got back on the river today (Robert watched, and ate). Her postpartum roll worked fine the first 8 times; unfortunately, I was still working out how to juggle Robert, bottle and camera, so I caught one of the less pretty rolls later on.

And while he's not consistent, Robert does tend toward the stereotypical fall asleep when the car starts moving. (Note the very nice "Catnap" blanket he's styling in, a gift from his Uncle Leland and Aunt Cornelia.) September 6, 2004.
Of course, after a busy day like that, it's time for bath....
