Robert Williams -- August, 2005 -- Weekend on Long Island

Beautiful weather, a great backyard and a group of fantastic kids.
Life is good.
We took a quick trip to Long Island to visit with Michelle (a friend of Sarah's from their days at Clark), Marc and their kids, Justin, Reese, Tessa and Noah. Tessa especially really took to Robert (and he to her).

I think the photo above is when one of the older boys kicked the big ball toward Tessa and Robert... Tessa is going into protection mode while Robert is fleeing (I think).

Robert even had a rare chance to kick back and watch some "tube" with his new friends.

After an afternoon of kicking the ball around, we relaxed with a great backyard dinner (thanks again, Michelle), slept well and played in the pool the next morning.

Michelle introduced Robert to some soaker balls that work sort of like reusable water balloons. Robert remained a bystander in the melee. But Tessa got a kick out of watering Robert to help him grow (did I mention that they got along great?).
