Memorial Day

We met up with Sue and Evan at the Vienna Festival today. There was lots of fun to be had — even though it was a hot day. They had lots of rides and most of them were for the younger set.

Lots of fun was had by all. The adults were able to join the kids on some rides (and I think Sarah’s slide scream was the winner for the morning).

Of course there was cotton candy as well — and a misting tent — it was hot, but not hot enough to make these two guy sweat that much. It really was lots of fun. We got there early before the crowds had grown too much and parking was too hard to deal with. I can certainly see us going back.

And, of course, Robert and Evan really liked a chance to hang out together. It’s been harder than expected to arrange a play date.
