Robert's plans are solidifying. Sarah and I flew back to Seattle for his birthday and to help him move out of his UW apartment. We'd been working on getting him into a downtown apartment for a while and the final acceptance call came to him on the morning of his birthday — hard to beat that timing. He had already made plans for a birthday baseball game. We joined Aiden, Robert, Brooklyn and Nolan to watch the Mariners. It was a fun game and perfect weather — if only the Ms had won. |

| The next day was busy packing up his stuff in his UW apartment. Then on Friday we rented a UHaul cargo van, packed it about 3/4 full and, with Robert hand carrying his Lego Ventator, moved him into to new apartment. |
| Saturday was Ikea day. Sarah found a Zipcar minivan that just perfectly held the three of us and the furniture Robert picked out for his apartment. Tessia came over that afternoon for the big Ikea build. By the end of the day, he had a bed, dresser, couch and hat/shoe rack. |

| Sarah and I enjoyed our Seattle Aquarium membership on Sunday morning before walking over to meet Robert for a tour of his rooftop patio — very nice, indeed. Then we did the final Ikea build: a TV stand. The apartment was really starting to feel like a home (Robert promises photos once he is fully unpacked). |

| On Monday, we took a ferry to Bremerton for a lovely lunch and tour of the USS Turner Joy, "a tin can", as it was called at the time because of its thin armour. As the Seatte-bound ferry passed us on our way out, Mt. Ranier was just trying to poke out of its blanket cloud across the sound. |

|
That was a very interesting tour and we both were astounded at how tight the quarters were on that destroyer. We met up with Robert for dinner the next day. Then back to his rooftop patio to enjoy the sunset view before saying our goodbyes. He seems well launced and to be adulting well. It will be fun to learn more with him about the next chapter. |
