With Harry and Elle, we headed to the mall on a cloudy, but warm March Sunday to see about getting Robert on
the Smithsonian's Carousel again. To our surprise, it was the day of the Saint Patrick's
Day parade; we ended up walking through the marshaling area on our way to the Carousel
(via the Hirshhorn's Sculpture garden.)

Robert was a little tentative with one of the horses we came across on the mall.
And he was looking very hard for the ducks we saw last week in the sculpture garden.

We were even serenaded in the Sculpture Garden by a pipe band warming up -- until the guards asked them to leave...
I enjoyed the contrast while I could.

As promised, after a couple detours, Robert got his second chance on the Carousel. He still looked a little worried
at times, but I think he enjoyed himself. And we were able to watch a bit of the parade before it was time to return
Robert home for his nap.
