Slumber Party!!!
Robert’s friend Romeo is expecting a new baby brother tomorrow. So he’s spending the night and most of tomorrow with us. Which means this is Robert’s first slumber party — Romeo has already slept over with other friends a couple of times.

Sarah reports they were asking if they could go to bed rather than watch another episode of Thomas, pretty unheard of. But we’ll see if the actually get to sleep before 10…

We thought it would be fun to set the old tent up in Robert’s room — it just barely fits. But they seemed to like the idea.

Update
They decided the tent was too dark after Sarah finished reading to them. So it came down. They played with headlights for a while looking at books, then we read them one more story and Robert nodded off to the audio version of Cars. Romeo was out a bit later. Both asleep by about 9:30.
